A private residence resolved in images before it was built. The visualisation ran alongside the architecture instead of after it: materials, landscaping layout and parts of the massing were decided by building them at full fidelity while the drawings were still open.
The renders were the design conversation, not a record of one, each decision tested as a picture and then carried back into the technical drawings.
