Method
KULISSE is a spatial direction studio in Cluj-Napoca, working acros residential, hospitality, experiential and brand environments.
The approach is atmosphere-focused. A home sells on how it feels in the first minute. A hotel is booked from an image long before anyone steps in it. A brand environment is either remembered or it is forgotten. In every case the atmosphere is doing the commercial work, which is why it is designed deliberately and first, instead of being whatever is left over.
Architecture, set design and editorial art direction applied as one discipline.

The feeling is the brief
Every project starts with one question: what should this space feel like? The answer becomes the constraint, used as the test for every decision after it.

One concept, fully commited
A single idea per space, carried to its limit. Depth comes from refusing the second idea, not from adding it.

Built to be seen
Every project is designed already knowing how it will be photographed, filmed and sold. The image is not a record of the work. Often it is the work.
