Two houses reading as one gesture. Massing, alignment, sequence, openings placed for a specific hour; visualised as a series so the relationship between the volumes could be judged before either one existed.
Designed together, then seen apart. The challenge was never either house on its own. It was whether the two would read as one gesture from the road and as two separate homes from inside.
